We got The Crunch... We got Dubdeckerbuss... We got MC Harlequin... We are Shifty Business!

We formed in early 2009 with the idea of bringing mayhem to dancefloors around Canberra and beyond. Our sets have always been about having fun, and that philosophy seems to be working.

Our mash-ups of bass driven hip hop, breaks, electro, DnB and dubstep, with samples old and new, and tunes from the cheesy to the cool, have proved a hit with the party massive. Some of the biggest gigs in 2009 included headlining the SKI SEASON LAUNCH PARTY and ONELOVE at Jindabyne, and rocking the sun stage at FORESHORE SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL. So far in 2010 we have brought Shifty madness to INDUSTRIAL, the SUBURBAN MUSIC FESTIVAL, ALLIANCE @ ACADEMY and smashed the club room at WAREHOUSE 2010.

Playing such massive gigs has allowed us be billed with some of the biggest acts on the planet, including Drumattic Twins, The Freestylers, Cotti, Hostage, Bloody Beetroots, Attomic Hooligan, Arman Van Helden, The Nextmen, Green Velvet, Ferry Corsten, Midnight Juggernauts, Stanton Warriors, NASA, Empire of the Sun, Axwell, Crookers, Kid Kenobi & MC Shureshock, London Elektricity, Muffler, Stafford Bros, Deadmau5, James Zabiela and many more.

Aside from the festival and high-profile parties, we have played a host of gigs for some of Canberra’s biggest promoters including Kicks Entertainment, Pang! and UniVibes.

We also promote a range of nights including VOODOO (a monthly DnB gig @ Hippo) and +ONE (a monthly breaks / dubstep gig @ Transit Bar). We also broadcast REZINATE, a dedicated DnB / dubstep / breaks show every Wed from 9-12 on 87.8 UC-FM with co-hosts DJ Dred and Faux Real.
